Pajuçara Beach and Natural Pools
Pajuçara is highly coveted by families with children and by divers. The waters are protected, and from the beach there are rustic vessels that will take you to the natural pools, located only 2 km from the coast.
Choose one of the accredited vessels: the excursion to the natural pools depends a little on the wind, but it takes between 10 and 15 minutes on average. There are vessels equipped for people with disabilities.
If you prefer to lounge on the sand, there are tents for rent, kiosks, showers, a bike path and jogging track.
Our hotel is located in front of one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil - Pajuçara Beach. An excursion you can't miss is to the emerald green natural pools, but there is still much more to do. Read our tips on things to do in Maceió.
Pajuçara Arts and Crafts Fair
Located nearby the hotel, it is one of the most traditional arts and crafts fairs of Maceió. You can buy exclusive ceramic pieces, embroidery, leather sandals, straw bags and much more.
Ideal for getting to know a little bit more about the culture of Alagoas and for buying souvenirs and gifts for family and friends.
Surfing beaches in Maceió
Prajuçara is one of the most serene beaches in Maceió, but if you want to go surfing, there are excellent options:
Cruz das Almas Beach
Riacho Doce Beach
If you go to Riacho Doce, we recommend stopping to taste the cakes and typical sweets from the area. Try out the tapioca, beiju (manioc flatcake), brasileira, cocada (coconut candy), bolo de macaxeira (cassava cake) and massa puba, all made the old fashioned clay and wood stoves.
Discover the wealth of the popular culture of Alagoas in Karandash Gallery. In the photo on the side, see an example of the works of Resêndio.
The gallery was created in 1985 and already has over 2,000 works in its collection, all available for purchase. Some of the artists who exhibit are: Nino, Antonio Poteiro, Veio, Jose do Chalé, Resêndio, Jose Ferreira, Celestino, Geraldo Dantas, Vitalino, D.Irinéia and Fernando Rodrigues.
